Scheduling and Granting of Leave. The scheduling and granting of annual leave that falls out of the Annual Closedown period is at 15 management’s discretion. As far as possible and subject to operational requirement an employee’s request for annual leave is to be scheduled at a time convenient to the employer. The employer shall have the right to give reasonable consideration to the necessity and interests of the business of the employer in agreeing to the dates when such leave may be taken.

  • Personal Medical Leave 1. Accrued 100% sick leave may be used at the employee's discretion. Such leave may be taken before or after the vacation described in No. 3 below. 2. During such leaves of absence all salary, statutory benefits, pension, vacation and benefits will be kept whole by the Employer and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for such salary and Employer contributions to benefits unless the Union decides to take sole responsibility for these employee obligations.

  • Family and Medical Leave The Employer shall provide employees with the benefits of the Family and Medical Leave Act on a fair and equitable basis in accordance with applicable law and regulation.
