Annual Closedown. 19.9.1 The Company may close its worksites or reduce the number of employees required for work so that all, or the maximum number of employees take leave at the same time.
19.9.2 The Company shall give one month’s notice of its intention to employees who would be affected by such action.
19.9.3 When the workplace is closed, employees must take the leave to which they are entitled pro-rata at the period of closure. In the case of the employee leave balance being less than the period of annual closure, the remainder of the closedown period shall be taken as unpaid leave.
19.9.4 Should the employee later accrue the entitlement to further paid leave following the resumption of work, the employee may elect to have the period of unpaid leave, paid from the subsequently accrued leave.
19.9.5 If an employee is employed for less than one year, any leave taken will be proportionate to length of service and if such leave is not equal to the leave given to other employees, then the employee shall not be entitled to work or pay whilst other employees are on the annual leave closedown.
Annual Closedown. Where the Company closes down all or part of the business for the purposes of allowing annual leave in conjunction with the Industry Closedown Period the Company may during the closedown period elect to either: • Stand off without pay any employee who has not yet qualified for a full grant of annual leave; or • Stand off any employee who has not yet qualified for a full grant of annual leave and pay such employee at a rate of 3.17 hours for each thirty-eight (38) ordinary hours of continuous service up to the date of commencement of the closedown period. • Where the Company decides to closedown at the Christmas / New Year period for the purpose of giving the whole of the annual leave due to all, or the majority of employees then qualified for such leave the Company will give at least two (2) months notice to the employees of the intention to close-down.
Annual Closedown. 6.2.6.1 Where the Company closes down all or part of the business for the purposes of allowing annual leave in conjunction with the Industry Closedown Period the Company may during the closedown period elect to provide annual leave in advance for any employee who has not yet qualified for a full grant of annual leave.
6.2.6.2 Where the Company decides to closedown at the Christmas / New Year period for the purpose of giving the whole of the annual leave due to all, or the majority of employees then qualified for such leave the Company will give at least two (2) months notice to the employees of the intention to close-down.
Annual Closedown. The Employer may closedown all or part of its operations regularly once a year and require the Employee to take leave during the period of the close down, even where this requires the Employee to take leave for which they are not fully reimbursed. The Employer shall provide the Employee with at least 14 days advance notice of the closedown.
Annual Closedown. 47.6.1 For plumbing industry employees AND joinery and building trades products industry employees
Annual Closedown. 30.1 ACSQHC will be closed for normal business and employees will not be required to perform normal duty on the working days between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Employees will be paid for closedown as if the days were public holidays.
30.2 Where an employee is absent on leave, payment for the Christmas closedown provision will be in accordance with the entitlement for that form of leave, (e.g. if on long service leave half pay, payment is at half pay).
30.3 There will be no deduction from annual or personal/carer’s leave credits for the annual closedown days.
30.4 The ACSQHC will be closed for normal business and employees will not be required to perform normal duty from 3.00 pm on the working day prior to Christmas and from 3.00 pm on the working day prior to Good Friday. Eligible employees will be paid for early stand down. Payment eligibility will be treated in the same manner as a normal working day.
30.5 Part-time employees normally not working on the days of the week on which annual closedown occur will not be entitled to alternative time off duty.
Annual Closedown. (a) The employee must take annual leave when the business customarily shuts Christmas and New Year each year. The employer will give at least 14 days’ notice of the closedown dates. If the employee does not have enough annual leave to cover this period, the employer will consult with the employee on how to handle the time off. This may include the employee taking unpaid leave or annual leave in advance.
(b) If the employee has worked for less than a year by the time of the closedown, they will be paid 8% of their gross earnings up to the start of the closedown and will not receive any annual leave for the period up to the closedown.
Annual Closedown. The ATSB‘s offices will be closed for normal business purposes during the period from 25 December to the first working day following the first day of January ('the Annual Closedown').
Annual Closedown. The Company may by giving not less than four (4) weeks notice close down the business for the purposes of allowing annual leave to all or the majority of the business or part concerned.
