Scheduling Changes. i) Barring unforeseen circumstances an employee requesting an exchange of posted time will submit the request electronically with acceptance by the employee willing to exchange shifts at least two (2) days in advance of the requested change. Any change, when initiated by the employee, shall, before implementation, require the prior written approval of the appropriate Director/Manager/Delegate. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. ii) Changes to the posted schedule will be requested 7 days in advance. Changes to the posted schedule will only be considered electronically and require approval by the manager or designate. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. An employee requesting a change to a posted schedule shall be solely responsible for ensuring that the request has been made in accordance with the scheduling provisions.
