Common use of School Closures Clause in Contracts

School Closures. Duties When all schools are closed to students, including early dismissals, as determined by the administration, due to severe inclement weather or Act of God or extreme temperatures, teachers shall not be required to report for regularly assigned duties. However, employees may be required to remain if necessary for supervision of students, as determined by the administration, due to the weather, act of God, or other reason making normal transportation for students unavailable or impractical. Employees shall be required to perform extracurricular duties if those activities are not cancelled or postponed by administration.
