Grades K - 6. Full time elementary teachers shall have the equivalent of a high school regular class period for planning time within the student day. This time must be in blocks of at least twenty (20) minutes. Grade level colleagues shall be provided the opportunity for simultaneous daily planning time at least three times per week. The principal shall schedule such time.

Grades K - 6. For grades K-6, no class section shall exceed a 30 to 1 student-to-teacher ratio; with the exception of band, choir, physical education and orchestra, without being subjected to the review process as outlined in Section 3, Subd. 1. of this Article.
Grades K - 6 a. In grades K-6, efforts will be made to achieve a goal of thirty (30) students as the maximum class size. If at any time the K-6 classroom exceeds 30 students, a merit rate of $2.50 per day per student in excess of 30 shall be paid. Except for Special Education students, for which overload will be paid at the rate of $.85 per hour to a maximum of $2.50 per day. An attempt will be made not to exceed 34 students.

  • Grades At the end of each semester, students shall receive a final grade report that shall become a part of their permanent record. All specifications provided hereunder shall be deemed to be Confidential Information.
