School Day Attendance. Members of extracurricular organizations must attend school for three class periods in order to participate in the extracurricular events held on that day or evening, unless they have a valid excuse for late arrival or early dismissal. Absence from school on the day or any part of the day following extracurricular events can only be excused by illness or similar valid excuses. Penalty for such unexcused absence will mean being barred from taking part in the next scheduled event of the concerned activity.

School Day Attendance. Parents can assist the school by encouraging their son/daughter to attend school regularly; consistent attendance and punctuality are necessary for academic success. In order to assure these possibilities, students attending ICCP may NOT miss more than eight (8) classes during a semester. Students who exceed this number of acceptable days absent or have excessive tardies will be required to attend a parent-student conference with an administrator. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss whether the student will be allowed to remain in the class or withdrawn from the class without credit. The regular school day begins PROMPTLY at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:50 p.m. The regular school day is divided into eight class periods and a 25-minute lunch period. Different bell schedules may be used as needed. The faculty is present from 7:30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m.
School Day Attendance. Members of extracurricular organizations must attend school for the whole day (7:45-2:33) in order to participate in extracurricular events held on that day or evening. All students must be in attendance the day after an athletic contest (7:45-2:33) to be able to participate in the next athletic contest.

  • School Day A. The length of the school day shall be seven (7) hours and five (5) minutes inclusive of the arrival and departure time.

  • Court Attendance Any employee covered by this Agreement who may be required to attend any commission, court or hearing, to give evidence in any case, civil or criminal respecting the hotel in which they are employed, shall be compensated at the same hourly rate as called for in this Agreement, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay.

  • Conference Attendance Effective October 1, 1996, unit employees shall be entitled to up to four (4) days administrative leave of absence within any two consecutive fiscal years subject to the following conditions:

  • Attendance Use best efforts to attend scheduled meetings of Company’s Board of Directors;

  • Time and Attendance Proper monitoring and certification of employee work time is necessary for a Telework program to be successful. Supervisors must review and ensure that you are paid only for hours worked, and that appropriate leave is used for absences during scheduled work hours. Supervisors must take those steps necessary to ensure that Teleworkers are working when scheduled, such as regular reviews of work, regular update calls with employees and other methods of tracking performance. Supervisors will be responsible for the pre-approval of overtime and work schedule changes.

  • Meeting Attendance The Contractor shall attend such meetings of the Town relative to the Scope of Work set forth in Exhibit A as may be requested by the Town. Any requirement made by the named representatives of the Town shall be given with reasonable notice to the Contractor so that a representative may attend.

  • Lunch If the Company elects to furnish a lunch meal, it will be suitable and may be in the form of a box lunch. The meal shall be eaten at the job site or a Company designated location. Employees eating a box lunch or other Company-provided lunch at the job site will be allowed 30 minutes paid time to eat and will also be granted the dollar amount of the meal allowance as specified under the labor agreement.

  • Attendance at Hearings A. Designated Union officials may be granted leave of absence without loss of wages, benefits or other privileges to attend hearings before the Legislature and State agencies concerning matters of importance to the Union and the Employer. Such leave will require prior approval of the CEO.

  • Attendance Bonus Employees are eligible for an attendance bonus when every shift is satisfactorily worked throughout the monthly schedule period and no changes are requested in the schedule by the employee except for trading shifts as provided for in Article 13.4.4 or utilizing unpaid union leave. To qualify, a minimum of 130 compensated hours must have been worked during the qualifying period. The bonus will be an additional twenty-five ($0.25) per hour on only the hours worked in the qualifying period.

  • School Year Sarasota Suncoast agrees that opening and closing dates of the school year and school holidays will coincide with other Sarasota County schools.
