Common use of School Improvement Clause in Contracts

School Improvement. A. The Board and the Association declare their mutual commitment to school improvement and the enhancement of instructional effectiveness. The parties additionally recognize that an important component of school improvement involves collaboration among both the teachers and administrators respecting the curriculum, teaching methodology and related matters. To this end, there shall be a District Curriculum Council (DC2) and Building Improvement Teams (BIT) established for each building in the District.
