Academic Credit. Student Exchange Programme Details pertaining to academic credit for students on Student Exchange Programme will be negotiated separately and will not be a part of this Agreement. Negotiations on academic credit transfer will be undertaken by correspondence between appropriate officers at each institution. 4.4. Academic Credit. A teacher who acquires academic credit in a University approved masters, specialist or doctoral program or teacher related field approved by the Superintendent beyond the BA/BS degree and provisional certification requirements which calls for advancement on the salary schedule shall be so advanced at the start of the school year provided courses are successfully completed by Labor Day, and at the beginning of the second semester at a pro- rata share for courses completed by that time. Credit shall not be granted for academic credit earned toward provisional certification requirements. Credits that are not part of the aforementioned advanced degree programs must be graduate credits. Academic credit will be recognized for pay scale advancement as long as the course work used is 500 level or above.
Academic Credit. Contributions in the development of computer programs shall at the request of the member be included in listings of publications and scholarly papers, in any curriculum vitae, in grant applications, and in reports prepared by the employer.
Academic Credit. The School District, in conjunction with the State Board of Education (via waivers), shall grant students who participate in, and successfully complete MCJROTC courses, academic credit toward graduation requirements (i.e., Physical Education, Health, Civics, etc.).

Academic Credit. 1. I understand that I must remain a full-time student if I participate in a semester-long Program and that I must enroll in the equivalent of at least twelve (12) credit hours per semester term. I understand that if I participate in a summer, winter, or spring break program, I will enroll in a variable number of credits dependent on which Program I am participating in, and that the Program brochure indicates the number of credits awarded for such Programs.
2. I understand that the maximum number of credit hours that I am able to transfer to or from UConn is eighteen (18) credit hours per semester and thirty-six (36) credit hours per year, unless I obtain special permission to do otherwise; and eight (8) credit hours for each summer session, unless I obtain special permission, regardless of the number of credits accrued at UConn, the host organization, or institution.
3. I understand that I am responsible for obtaining course approvals from UConn or my home institution’s faculty evaluators for all courses I take, unless the course has an equivalent, pre- approved UConn course number published on the Experiential Global Learning website. UConn courses that have not been pre-approved must go through the course alignment process to be assigned equivalent UConn course numbers and credits. I agree to complete this alignment process as soon as possible, and no later than the end of the semester after I return from my Program.. Until student transcripts are received from a Host Program, Experiential Global Learning cannot post any courses or grades for the term the student participated in their program. Experiential Global Learning will maintain a placeholder course on the student’s UConn transcript until the Host Program transcript is received or for up to one year. If after one year, Experiential Global Learning still has not received a transcript from the Host Program, Experiential Global Learning may record 12 credits of UNIV 3993: Foreign Study with letter grades of “F” on the student’s UConn transcript.
4. I understand that substitutions for major, minor, and related course requirements are at the discretion of individual UConn or home institution departments and schools.
5. I understand that UConn cannot guarantee my enrollment in a given course or courses at a host Program. If I am unable to enroll in the courses that I intend to take, I am responsible for finding alternative courses and aligning them with UConn or home institution courses to ensure that ...
Academic Credit. Any certified staff member shall advance on the salary schedule at the beginning of the semester following presentation to the Superintendent of sufficient evidence of credit earned. Such evidence is to be submitted ten (10) days prior to the date of the payroll at which the increase is to become effective.
Academic Credit. Credit on the certified salary schedule will be allowed for graduate course work leading toward improvement of the employee's performance, which shall be verified by a grade sheet submitted to the Director prior to September 1 and validated by an official transcript. Upon prior approval of the Director, non-certified staff may submit evidence of a job-related Associate or Bachelor’s degree in the same manner as outlined above.
Academic Credit. Credit for education or training applicable toward a secondary school diploma, a post-secondary degree, or an accredited certification of completion, consistent with applicable Commonwealth law, regulations and policy, and the requirements of an accredited educational agency or institution.
