Common use of School Improvement Clause in Contracts

School Improvement. The conditions which follow shall govern employee participation in any and all plans, programs, or projects included in the terms, site-based decision making, school improvement, effective schools as provided in Act 197, P.A. 1987 (Section 15.1919 (919b) MSA) or other similar plans: A) Participation in the planning by the employee should be voluntary if outside of the regular school day. B) Participation in the planning shall not be used as a criteria for evaluation, discipline, and discharge. C) The master agreement may not be modified in whole or in part except by mutual written agreement by the Association and the Board.
