Common use of School Improvement Clause in Contracts

School Improvement. A. The conditions which follow shall govern employee participation in any and all plans, programs, or projects included in the terms, site-based decision making, school improvement, effective schools as provided in Act 197, P.A. 1987 (Section 15.1919 (919b) MSA) or other similar plans: 1. Participation in the planning process by the employee is mandatory when it takes place during school hours. 2. The Composition of school improvement committee is established under section 1277 of the Revised School Code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1277. 3. The Master Agreement may not be modified in whole, or in part, except by mutual, written agreement by the Association and the Board or to become compliant with State or Federal Law.
