Scope of Work and Schedule. At the request of OWNER, the ENfiINEER has prepared this Scope of Work to support with various services related to permitting of the Lake Xxxxxx Water Supply Intake Project (the “INTAKE PROJECT”). The State of fieorgia and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) recently signed a water storage agreement (1/20/2020) that allocates a portion of Lake Xxxxxx for water supply. Forsyth County is now waiting to sign a subcontract with the State of fieorgia to begin their process to construct a new water supply intake in Lake Xxxxxx. The ENfiINEER completed a Project Review and Value Engineering (VE) Report for the Forsyth County Raw Water Intake and Pump Station (3/19/2020) that identified further geotechnical analysis and water quality monitoring needs. Further, the final permitting approach was confirmed via teleconference on 2/18/2021 between U.S. Army Corps of Engineering (USACE) and Jacobs staff, representing Forsyth County. Because of overlapping jurisdictions, multiple USACE Districts and Divisions will be involved in permitting and acquiring the appropriate easements including Mobile District, Real Estate Division and Operations Division as well as Savannah District, Regulatory Division. This Scope of Work will focus on the permitting needs for the INTAKE PROJECT and include the following Tasks: Task 1 – Develop Standard Form 299 Task 2 – Develop Nationwide Permit Application Task 3 – Agency Coordination Task 1 – Standard Form 299 Following Notice to Proceed (NTP), ENfiINEER will hold a kickoff meeting with the OWNER to discuss the proposed Project schedule.
