School Days. The District shall grant vacation leave as requested by the Employee except in the event of an Emergency. The District may require the adjustment of scheduled vacation leaves to maintain minimum staffing levels in the District or in the event of an emergency. It is understood that minimum staffing levels may be adjusted by the District.

School Days. Subd. 1. The School District shall, prior to April 1, establish the number of school days for the following school year.
Subd. 2. Teachers shall perform teaching duties on school days determined by the School District, including those legal holidays on which the School District is authorized to conduct school and, pursuant to Minn. Stat. 122A.40, has determined it will conduct school.

When there is a snowstorm, the Superintendent of Schools or her/his designee, in her/his judgment, shall notify the custodian in charge of each building to call in for snow removal one (1) or more employees not on duty, and the employees so called must report for snow removal. These employees shall be paid overtime for the number of hours involved as defined in Article IX.
B. When school has been canceled for students because of snow the second shift custodians will report to work within two (2) hours of notification by the senior custodian in each building. Second and third shift custodians will report at their regular shift hours, unless informed otherwise by the building senior custodian or the Director of Custodial Services.
School Days. As an alternative, either Party may contact the other to seek a Meeting of the appropriate Parties with a view to resolving the dispute.

School Days. If either the Employer or Union fails to respond in writing within this time period, the matter will automatically move to the next step in this grievance procedure.
School Days. SECTION A: GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES The teacher’s regular workday shall include responsibility for supervision of the arrival and departure of students within the building, attendance at scheduled staff meetings, preparation for the performance of classroom responsibility, and availability for student and parent conferences. All teachers shall remain for a sufficient period after the close of the scheduled workday to attend to those matters which properly require attention at that time, including consultations with parents.
SECTION B: TIME SCHEDULE All teachers in the secondary and middle schools shall have a seven (7) hour and four (4) minute day. All elementary schools shall have a seven (7) hour and thirty-four (34) minute day. The workday shall not begin prior to 7:00 a.m. nor end later than 4:00 p.m. Duty time shall be continuous except for the scheduled lunch period. The high school will have approximately seventy-three (73) minute class periods of four (4) teaching periods per day. The middle school will have approximately sixty-two (62) minute class periods of five (5) teaching periods per day Secondary (9-12) and middle school (5-8) teachers shall report to their schools ten (10) minutes before the opening of the pupils’ school day. Elementary (grades K-4) teachers shall report to their schools thirty-one (31) minutes before the opening of the pupils’ school day.
SECTION C: LUNCH Each secondary and middle school teacher shall have a twenty-five (25) minute duty-free lunch with a five (5) minute passing period before and after lunch. Each elementary teacher shall have a duty-free lunch period of forty-five (45) minutes.
School Days are prepaid days of school. A School-Day is one day in duration and is the cost of one day at your chosen educational institution. School-Days can only ever be redeemed for Tuition Fees at a Qualifying Educational Institution, and not for cash or any other product unauthorised by TrustEd.
School Days. Refers to operational days and hours where curriculum programming is occurring. Inclusive programming consists of time periods in July and August (Summer School) and during evening hours (high school programming). The number of days and hours can change from year to year.
