Section 3.4. Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination. District and the Union are committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity. Neither the 31 District nor the Union shall unlawfully discriminate against any employee subject to this Agreement on 32 the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, marital status, veteran or military status, 33 sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, the presence of any sensory, mental or physical 34 disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability.

Section 3.4. Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination. Employer and the Association are committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity. All staff 3 members will be treated fairly at all times and without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national 4 origin, military or marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, political ideology, genetic information 5 or disability, and any other basis protected by local, State, or Federal law. This applies to all personnel 6 actions including recruitment, hiring, training, transfer, promotion and demotion, layoff and recall, 7 compensation and benefits, discipline, termination and all other conditions or privileges of employment. 9 Neither the District, nor the Association, shall unlawfully discriminate against any employee subject to this 10 Agreement on the basis of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age or 11 marital status or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical handicap, except to the extent of a bona 12 fide reason. This provision shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the District’s affirmative 13 action program.
Section 3.4. Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination. District is an Equal Opportunity employer in education programs, activities, services, and 35 employment. Neither the District nor the Association will discriminate against any employee subject to 36 this agreement on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation 37 including gender expression or identity, marital status, families with children, the presence of any 38 sensory, mental or physical disability, the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with 39 a disability, honorably discharged veteran, veteran, or military status. The District will comply with all 40 state and federal guidelines and/or regulations. 41

  • Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity Consultant shall not discriminate, on the basis of a person’s race, religion, color, national origin, age, physical or mental handicap or disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, or sexual orientation, against any employee, applicant for employment, subcontractor, bidder for a subcontract, or participant in, recipient of, or applicant for any services or programs provided by Consultant under this Agreement. Consultant shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, policies, rules, and requirements related to equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in employment, contracting, and the provision of any services that are the subject of this Agreement, including but not limited to the satisfaction of any positive obligations required of Consultant thereby. Consultant shall include the provisions of this Subsection in any subcontract approved by the City or this Agreement.

  • Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity All Parties to this MOU certify that they prohibit, and will continue to prohibit, discrimination, and they certify that no person, otherwise qualified, is denied employment, services, or other benefits on the basis of: (i) political or religious opinion or affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identification and/or expression, race, color, creed, or national origin; (ii) sex or age, except when age or sex constitutes a bona fide occupational qualification; or (iii) the physical or mental disability of a qualified individual with a disability.   • Equal Opportunity Employer The CONSULTANT, In all services, programs, activities, hiring, and employment made possible by or resulting from this Agreement or any subcontract, there shall be no discrimination by Consultant or its selection and retention of sub-consultants, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment, of any level, or any of those entities employees, agents, sub-consultants, or representatives against any person because of sex, age (except minimum age and retirement provisions), race, color, religion, creed, national origin, marital status, or the presence of any disability, including sensory, mental or physical handicaps, unless based upon a bona fide occupational qualification in relationship to hiring and employment. The Contractor will not participate directly or indirectly in the discrimination prohibited by the Acts and the Regulations, including employment practices when the Contract covers any activity, project, or program set forth in Appendix B of 49 CFR Part 21.
