Section 8.6.3. 26 The employee will retain accrued sick leave, vested vacation rights, and seniority while on leave 27 of absence. However, vacation credits, Schedule A step placement sick leave and seniority shall 28 not accrue while an employee is on leave of absence; provided, however, that if such leave is 29 approved for extended illness or injury, seniority shall accrue. Employees will receive notice of 30 this provision on the District’s Leave Request Form prior to taking such a leave of absence.

Section 8.6.3. 30 If an employee works less than full-time on a twelve (12) month basis, annual vacation shall be 31 accrued on a pro-rated basis.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest.
