Common use of Selective Service Physical Examination Clause in Contracts

Selective Service Physical Examination. If an employee who is drafted for military service is required to be absent from work in order to take a Selective Service physical examination and shows his/her Selective Service Board notice of such examination to his/her supervisor in advance, he/she will be granted leave with pay for the time actually and necessarily lost from work, not exceeding one (1) day, in order to take such examination.
