Seniority and RIF/Recall. Where seniority is to be applied under Section 24-12 of The School Code, the criteria is outlined in Article IX of this Agreement. Any recalled teacher shall retain their accrued rights and all accumulated seniority; however, any period after the honorable dismissal during which the teacher did not teach shall not be counted toward seniority.
