Common use of Seniority Tie Breakers Clause in Contracts

Seniority Tie Breakers. Where two or more employees have identical Union seniority dates, seniority rights shall be determined on the basis of the sum of the last four (4) digits of each employee's social security number with preference to the highest number. If the last four (4) digits tie then the last five (5) will be used.
