Common use of Separations Clause in Contracts

Separations. (1) An eligible employee may be separated from employment without cause. (2) An eligible employee may be separated without cause upon ten (10) calendar days’ prior written notice of separation, or ten (10) calendar days’ pay in lieu of notice, or any combination thereof. A copy of the notice will be forwarded to the Union.
