Service Year Definition. For purposes of this Article, a year of service is defined below:
Service Year Definition. For purposes of paid vacation, a service year is one in which 75% or more of the pay periods are creditable. A creditable pay period is one in which the Unit Member is compensated for 75% or more of the workdays in a pay period. An itemized printout concerning vacation hours shall be provided to each unit employee on the first day of work, each school year.
