Common use of Seventh Consecutive Day of Work Clause in Contracts

Seventh Consecutive Day of Work. Overtime shall be paid at the rate of double time for all time worked on the employee’s seventh consecutive workday in the workweek, provided that such hours are in excess of forty-eight (48) hours worked before that seventh consecutive day. A day shall be counted as a day of work for purposes of this Paragraph although an employee has not worked due to the following conditions:
