Sharps. The Sharps are a show choir or ensemble of selected voices, which perform at various local civic clubs and organizations throughout the year. Performances include a variety of popular music and some choreography. Members are selected by auditions in the spring.
Sharps. Sharps include needles, scalpels, blades, broken medical glass, broken 468 capillary tubes, and ends of dental wires.
Sharps objects or instruments necessary for the exercise of specific healthcare activities, which are able to cut, prick, cause injury and/or infection. Sharps are considered as work equipment within the meaning of Directive 89/655//EEC on work equipment.
5. Hierarchy of measures : is defined in order of effectiveness to avoid, eliminate and reduce risks as defined in article 6 of Directive 89/391/EEC and articles 3, 5 and 6 of Directive 2000/54/EC.
6. Specific preventative measures : measures taken to prevent injury and/or transmission of infection in the provision of hospital and healthcare directly related services and activities, including the use of the safest equipment needed, based on the risk assessment and safe methods of handling the disposal of medical sharps.
Sharps. Upon SMR Customer request, Contractor will provide for Disposal of Sharps generated through personal (not Business or Commercial) use, including all of the following:
1. Containers designed for discard of Sharps, that comply with Law and are acceptable to City.
2. Shipping boxes with pre-paid postage.
3. Pre-addressed labels.
4. Pre-paid Disposal.
Sharps. Upon LGR Customer request, Contractor will provide for Disposal of Sharps generated through personal (not Business or Commercial) use, including all of the following:
1. Containers designed for discard of Sharps, which comply with Law and are acceptable to City.
2. Shipping boxes with pre-paid postage.
3. Pre-addressed labels.
4. Pre-paid Disposal.
Sharps. There is a risk of injury due to sharp objects that may have been collected in sampling area. Pay close attention and handle trash and debris carefully to prevent accidental cuts and scrapes. If accidental cuts and scrapes do occur, ensure that tetanus shots are up-to-date to prevent infection. The negligent handling of trash and debris could lead to infection or other serious ailments.
Sharps. There is a risk of injury due to sharp objects that may have been collected by storm drain inserts. Pay close attention and handle trash and debris carefully to prevent accidental cuts and scrapes. If accidental cuts and scrapes do occur, ensure that tetanus shots are up-to-date to prevent infection. The negligent handling of trash and debris could lead to infection or other serious ailments.
Sharps. Medical devices that have needles or other sharp implements as component parts, including, but not limited to sharps and sharps used in animal or human patient care, medical research, or clinical or pharmaceutical laboratories, hypodermic, intravenous syringes to which a needle or other sharp is still attached, Pasteur pipettes, scalpel blades, blood vials, other types ofbroken or unbroken glass (including slides and cover slips) that have been in contact with infectious agents. "Sharps" shall not include those paits of syringes from which sharps are specifically designed to be easily removed and from which sharps have actually been removed, and which are intended for recycling or other disposal, so long as such syringes have not come in contact with infectious agents.
Sharps. Contractor shall provide, at a reasonable cost, a separate program for the collection of Sharps. This program shall not be exclusive, but Contractor agrees to maintain this program during the term of this Agreement.
Sharps. PHS Medical shall count sharps at the change of each tour and record the count. . Such record shall be submitted to the Department and DOC. PHS Medical shall immediately report discrepancies to DOC and the Department. The Department and DOC reserve the right to conduct random, unscheduled audits and to supervise the count. Upon implementation of a Pyxis or similar system, the Department may modify this protocol, with written notice to the Contractors.
