Sharps. The Sharps are a show choir or ensemble of selected voices, which perform at various local civic clubs and organizations throughout the year. Performances include a variety of popular music and some choreography. Members are selected by auditions in the spring.
Sharps. Sharps include needles, scalpels, blades, broken medical glass, broken 463 capillary tubes, and ends of dental wires.
Sharps objects or instruments necessary for the exercise of specific healthcare activities, which are able to cut, prick, cause injury and/or infection. Sharps are considered as work equipment within the meaning of Directive 89/655//EEC on work equipment.

Medical devices that have needles or other sharp implements as component parts, including, but not limited to sharps and sharps used in animal or human patient care, medical research, or clinical or pharmaceutical laboratories, hypodermic, intravenous syringes to which a needle or other sharp is still attached, Pasteur pipettes, scalpel blades, blood vials, other types ofbroken or unbroken glass (including slides and cover slips) that have been in contact with infectious agents. "Sharps" shall not include those paits of syringes from which sharps are specifically designed to be easily removed and from which sharps have actually been removed, and which are intended for recycling or other disposal, so long as such syringes have not come in contact with infectious agents.
Sharps. Contractor shall provide, at a reasonable cost, a separate program for the collection of Sharps. This program shall not be exclusive, but Contractor agrees to maintain this program during the term of this Agreement.
Sharps. All sharps, e.g., needles and blades, must be discarded in a CSA-approved sharps collector. These containers are designed to resist punctures and to prevent the sharps from falling out if the container tips over. Generators are responsible for purchasing their own sharps collectors. Sharps. The school’s Health and Safety policy should set out safe disposal of finger prick needles and insulin pen needles in a sharps bin. The document “Supporting Pupils with Medication Needs” provides details on how to store and dispose of sharps safely. The sharps bin should be supplied and disposed of by the parents. Action Responsibility Sharps Box will be disposed of and replaced as needed Parents / Carers Physical Activity Children with diabetes should be able to participate in all physical activities and should be encouraged to do so as being active and participating in exercise and sport is as important for the child with diabetes as it is for everyone. There are a number of elite sportsmen and women who have been successful in their chosen sport with careful management of their Type 1 diabetes.4 Being active uses up energy and consequently blood glucose levels can fall. Hypoglycaemia can occur some hours after the activity but planning can avoid this. Exercise is not recommended if the blood glucose level is too low or too high therefore it is important for all children to test before participating in any exercise. Guidance about supporting your child with diabetes during physical activity will be in detailed in their IHP. 12
Sharps. PHS Medical shall count sharps at the change of each tour and record the count. . Such record shall be submitted to the Department and DOC. PHS Medical shall immediately report discrepancies to DOC and the Department. The Department and DOC reserve the right to conduct random, unscheduled audits and to supervise the count. Upon implementation of a Pyxis or similar system, the Department may modify this protocol, with written notice to the Contractors.
Sharps. Upon customer request, Franchisee will provide for disposal of sharps 30 under Subsection a(7). 31 32 (7) Optional Manure for Additional Rate. Franchisee will do the following 33 upon customer request, for a Rate equal to the refuse Rate for comparable capacity bins 34 and frequency of collection:
Sharps. There is a risk of injury due to sharp objects that may have been collected in sampling area. Pay close attention and handle trash and debris carefully to prevent accidental cuts and scrapes. If accidental cuts and scrapes do occur, ensure that tetanus shots are up-to-date to prevent infection. The negligent handling of trash and debris could lead to infection or other serious ailments.
