SHIFT CHANGES / ROSTER CHANGES. 5.5.1 After consultation, the time of commencing and finishing of ordinary hours once having been determined may be varied by agreement between the employer, the employees and their chosen representatives to suit the circumstances of the establishment, or in the absence of agreement, by seven days notice of alteration given by the employer to the employee. The notice to be given in writing to all employees concerned detailing the shift changes and their consequent effects. 5.5.2 When the Company wishes an employee to change from one roster to another, the following process will be followed: - The employee/s will be advised at least 14 days in advance of the proposed roster and the reason why the change is necessary. An employee may in the 14 day period, prior to the roster change, raise with the Company any personal issues that need to be addressed in order to ease the employee’s personal transition to the new roster. Should the issue not be resolved, the employee may progress the issue through the remaining steps of the personal grievance procedure. - At the end of the 14 day period, the new roster will come into effect and all employees will be obligated to comply. - Where the new roster provides for lesser earnings than the previous roster, the Company will for a period of 8 weeks after the new roster comes into effect, provide for protection of earnings from the previous roster. Note: The above only applies to ongoing roster changes. For emergency situations, ie the unforeseen, the Company will give the maximum notice that the circumstances allow. 5.5.3 The parties have a joint desire to work towards developing award flexibility to meet changes in market place needs. 5.5.4 To meet these market needs, a change to hours and/or days of work can be introduced by mutual agreement with a majority of employees in any one-work area: 5.5.5 Employees’ chosen representative is to be notified prior to any proposal to change either hours or days of work.

  • Amendments - Changes/Extra Work The Subrecipient shall make no changes to this Contract without the County’s written consent. In the event that there are new or unforeseen requirements, the County has the discretion with the Subrecipient’s concurrence, to make changes at any time without changing the scope or price of the Contract.‌ If County-initiated changes or changes in laws or government regulations affect price, the Subrecipient’s ability to deliver services, or the project schedule, the Subrecipient will give County written notice no later ten (10) days from the date the law or regulation went into effect or the date the change was proposed and Subrecipient was notified of the change.   • Room Changes No changes in room assignment will be based upon age, race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, and online profiles except as needed to provide a reasonable accommodation to residents with eligible disabilities registered with the College Office of Counseling and Disability Services. Room change may only be made with the written approval of College Housing and is dependent upon space availability, timing of the request, and grounds for transfer. Residents who receive approval for a room change may be charged a room change fee as shown on the College Housing website, which will be posted to Resident’s account. Room changes that are not authorized by College Housing will result in a fine as shown on the College Housing website, which will be posted to Resident’s account.

  • Schedule Changes (a) If, in the course of a posted schedule, the Employer: (i) changes Employees’ scheduled days off without giving 14 days’ notice of the change, they shall be paid 2X their Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on what would otherwise have been their off-duty days. (ii) changes Employees’ scheduled Shift, but not their scheduled days off, without giving 14 days’ notice of the change, they shall be paid 2X their Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked during the first Shift of the changed schedule. (b) Employees shall be notified of such changes in their schedule and such changes shall be recorded on the Shift schedule. (c) An Employee or the Employer may, during the course of a posted schedule, ask to amend scheduled Shifts. Such Employee requests shall be granted where operationally possible without additional cost. Where mutually agreed, the requirements for 14 days’ notice of change and the resultant penalty pay as described in Article 7.04(a) shall not apply. Employees or the Employer should make such requests as far in advance as possible in order to maximize the ability to accommodate the request. Any Shift changes made by mutual agreement shall not violate the scheduling provisions of this Article.

  • Program Changes Contractor agrees to inform the County of any alteration in program or service delivery at least thirty (30) days prior to the implementation of the change, or as soon as reasonably feasible.
