SHOP COMMITTEE. The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a Shop Committee, who shall be employees of the Company covered by this Agreement. The Company will recognize and meet with the said Shop Committee to discuss and adjust matters pertaining to the interpretation, application and alleged violation of the terms of this Agreement, and grievances presented at Step 3 pursuant to Article 8 hereof. Such meetings shall be carried on during working hours. An officer of the International Association of Machinists may be present if either party so requests.
