Common use of Sick Leave—5 Months or Less Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave—5 Months or Less. When a teacher has exhausted accumulated sick leave including the amount annually credited, the teacher is entitled to five (5) school months of extended sick leave. Payment for such leave shall be at the teacher’s regular rate of pay less the amount payable to a substitute.
