Sick Leave Assistance. Employees who have a minimum of forty (40) hours in their sick leave bank may, upon written request, have a determined amount of hours cashed out to assist an employ- ee with a serious health condition. a. There shall be no assistance until the prospective recipient has exhausted their sick leave bank. b. Employees assisting immediate family members, as outlined in the National Master, Article 29, Section 2, are eligible for assis- tance.
