Common use of Sick Leave Pool Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Pool. The purpose of the sick leave pool is to provide a continuing income for teachers who are faced with major illness or injury and have used up all their accumulated sick leave. This pool is not intended for brief absences after sick leave is used up, and will be implemented as follows:

Sick Leave Pool. PURPOSE: The purpose of the sick leave pool is to provide a continuing income additional temporary leave assistance, during the contract year only, for teachers the teacher who are faced with major illness or injury and have used up has exhausted all their of his/her accumulated sick leave. This pool is not intended for brief absences after ELIGIBILITY: Only teachers of U.S.D. 450 who have contributed to the sick leave is used up, pool may make application for temporary leave days. Teachers working less than full-time but at least half-time may join and will be implemented as follows:participate in the pool on a pro rata basis.

Sick Leave Pool. The purpose of the sick leave pool is to provide paid leave to employees who have exhausted their vacation leave and sick leave due to a continuing income for teachers who are faced with major catastrophic illness or injury and have used up all their accumulated sick leave. This pool is not intended for brief absences after sick leave is used up, and will be implemented as follows:accident to the employee or to a member of the employee's immediate family.

The purpose of the sick leave pool is to provide a continuing income additional sick leave days for teachers who are faced with major illness or injury under continuing contract and have used up all exhausted their accumulated sick leave. This pool is not intended for brief absences after sick leave is used upand would face undue hardship by an extended absence due to illness, or a reoccurrence of that illness. Application may also be made for an extended illness of a continuing income for teachers who are faced spouse or children living with major illness or injury and have used up all their accumulated sick leave. This pool is not intended for brief absences after sick leave is used up, and will be implemented as follows:the eligible employee.
