Sick Time Off - Accrual. Full-time classified employees (pro-rated for part-time) shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick time off for each month of completed classified service. Paid sick time off may not be used in advance of accrual. Sick leave accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every forty (40) hours worked when leave without pay exceeds eighty (80) hours (pro-rated for part-time) in any calendar month.
