Common use of SITE SUPERVISION Clause in Contracts

SITE SUPERVISION. 1.8.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out. 1.8.2 Contractor's site supervisor shall be responsible for communication with the State's representatives and shall meet with the BGS Contract Coordinator at the site on a weekly basis to discuss project status, including any problems, ideas, or concerns related to the project work. 1.8.3 Contractor and its employees shall be subject to all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations for the conduct of personnel. 1.8.4 The Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his/her subcontractors and their employees at all times. 1.8.5 The contractor shall be responsible for instructing his/her employees in applicable safety measures. The contractor shall not permit placing of equipment in traffic lanes or other locations in such a manner as to create safety hazards. Contractor’s employees shall be required to interrupt their work at any time to allow passage of personnel. Contractor and contractor’s employees will be expected to provide contractor’s employees with proper personal protective equipment (hardhats, eye/ear protection, gloves, etc.) as working conditions or job sites require. Contractor must comply with all federal and state safety laws and regulations.
