Social Worker Classifications. 1. The parties agree that the Growth Series within the Indigenous Delegated Social Worker Progression (IDSWP) will be dependent upon actual hours paid while in a delegated position. Any hours worked in a non-delegated position will not apply to progression on the IDSWP. Despite the foregoing, the Employer may, in its discretion, place a newly hired employee at any step above the starting wage step in the IDSWP classification but no higher than Step 1 of the Indigenous Delegated Social Worker Working Level classification, based on recent, relevant work experience.
