Common use of Sole Arbitrator Clause in Contracts

Sole Arbitrator. Notwithstanding the above, the parties may by mutual agreement refer the dispute to a sole arbitrator, with each party paying one-half (½) the cost of such arbitrator. The arbitrator shall have the same powers as an Arbitration Board.
