SPECIAL EDUCATION RUN. A “special education run” is the scheduled transportation of special education students, and may include PPI students.
SPECIAL EDUCATION RUN. If it is determined that there is a problem on a Special Education run with student control, the Board may place an aide on the bus to assist in student control. This aide shall be placed exclusively to supervise students, and shall not serve in any evaluation capacity.
SPECIAL EDUCATION RUN. (If provided by the local district) 1. The regular full time driver (or substitute driver) assigned to the above said run shall be compensated for one extra hour beyond the regular hours worked per day. 2. Seniority shall determine which two drivers shall be called upon to work as a replacement driver for the Special Education Run (physically and mentally impaired). The paid hours over and beyond the regular hours shall be posted to the overtime board. The overtime board will determine which of the two top seniority drivers will take said run. These drivers shall spend two (2) days with pay with pay no later than the second week of school learning the Special Education fun with the regular driver.
SPECIAL EDUCATION RUN. A run that begins at a district.or district approved facility, stops at each passenger's‌ home, carries students whose handicap or schedule does not allow transportation on a regular run, ends at a district or district approved facility, and may drop or pick up students at one or more other district approved facilities in the course of travel.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund, one (1¢) cent per hour per employee for all compensated hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such leave will be for upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions.
