– Special Procedures For Addressing Sexual Harassment Complaints. The following procedures are available for addressing sexual harassment complaints. No person shall suffer reprisals for filing any such complaint.
a. An academic employee's complaint of sexual harassment against any employee of the District not in the academic-employee bargaining unit shall be addressed through the grievance procedure (Article V) in this AGREEMENT.
b. An academic employee's complaint of sexual harassment against another academic employee of the District shall be addressed through Section 10.2 of the AGREEMENT regarding complaints.
c. A complaint of sexual harassment against an academic employee by a student, another employee of the District, or a member of the public shall also be addressed in accordance with Section

No person shall suffer reprisals for filing any such complaint. Academic employees shall receive a written copy of the complaint prior to the investigation or investigation meeting. Disciplinary action shall not take place until after the investigation has been completed (except under extraordinary or emergency circumstances). Title IX notification and investigation will follow the steps outlined in Article 10.

An academic employee's complaint of sexual harassment against any employee of the District shall be referred to the College’s Title IX Coordinator for investigation through the official school process that follows current federal and state Title IX statutory regulations. If the college refuses to start an investigation following current regulations, the academic employee may file their own complaint via the grievance procedure (Article V)
