The Special Work Conditions clause defines unique or non-standard requirements that apply to certain tasks or roles within a contract. Special Work Conditions. 32.1 Where an employee is requested to work on-site the conditions of employment will be as per Appendix A of this Agreement.
32.2 Should you be required to rectify a job due to poor workmanship, you will make good the repairs in your own time.
32.3 Your hourly rate is inclusive of a tool allowance therefore in the position of a tradesperson you are required to supply all the necessary tools required to undertake a position of a qualified tradesperson. Universal Engineering Pty Ltd will provide all special purpose tools required.
Special Work Conditions. No employee shall be called for less than three (3) hours work in any one day except by mutual agreement between the employee and the District. No employee shall be required to work a split shift unless it is agreed upon by the employee. Employees who are not scheduled to be on duty under such situations shall not lose pay if the time lost can be rescheduled. In the event schools are closed because of conditions considered to be hazardous to the safety of children (i.e., snow days), the following shall prevail:
Special Work Conditions. A. CONTRACTOR shall take appropriate precautions to protect the existing storm drains in the project area. In the event that damage to a storm drain occurs as a result of the CONTRACTOR’S negligence, the CONTRACTOR shall notify the OWNER of such occurrence and shall repair any damage to the satisfaction of the OWNER, at no additional costs to the OWNER.
B. Any traffic control plans (for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic) shall be prepared and submitted to the City of Knoxville or TDOT in accordance with Section 01550 for approval prior to construction.
C. Work Hours- City of Knoxville will require Contractor to perform work during the following restricted hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday when working along any arterials or collectors (Cherokee Blvd and Scenic Drive)
