Specialist Pay. 232. An employee designated as a Specialist and assigned to the Specialist Team shall receive a premium of three percent (3%) biweekly. This premium shall not be included for purposes of retirement benefit calculations or contributions. Specialists are subject to changes in watches and assigned work locations for operational reasons. The number of Specialist positions available per shift or location shall be determined by the Chief or his/her designee.
