Split Assignments. a. A split assignment shall be defined as a work assignment in which a unit member is assigned to regularly teach at two or more schools during contract hours on the same day during the school year. b. The District shall make a good faith effort to minimize split assignments and work with the individual unit member’s credential authorization to keep them at one site. c. Requests for mileage reimbursement incurred when travelling between District sites as a result of a split assignment will be submitted on the district-approved monthly Travel and Expense Claim Form and reimbursed within thirty (30) days.
