The Stain Resistance clause defines the standards and expectations for a product's ability to resist staining from common substances. It typically outlines the types of stains covered, the duration of the resistance guarantee, and any maintenance requirements the user must follow to maintain the warranty. This clause serves to assure buyers of the product's durability and ease of maintenance, while also clarifying the manufacturer's obligations and any limitations, thereby reducing disputes over product performance.
Stain Resistance. The Product will be resistant to permanent staining resulting from food and beverage items typically present on a residential deck (e.g., mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, barbeque sauce, soda, and coffee) spilled onto the surface of the Product, or from mold and mildew naturally occurring in the environment, provided that: 1. Within one (1) week of exposure of the food or beverage to the surface of the Product or, in the case of mold and mildew, within one (1) week of the first appearance of the mold and mildew, Purchaser attempts to clean the affected area using the cleaning procedures outlined in the Fortress Building Products Maintenance and Care Guide (available at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/maintenance-care 2. If the stain is still unreasonably visible after completing the cleaning procedures outlined in the Fortress Building Products Maintenance and Care Guide, the Purchaser must have the affected area cleaned by a professional cleaner at the Purchaser’s expense within one (1) week of exposure of the food or beverage to the surface of the Product or, in the case of mold and mildew, within one (1) week of first appearance of the mold and mildew; and 3. If, after completing the immediately preceding two (2) steps, the stain still remains unreasonably visible, the Purchaser must notify Fortress Building products within thirty (30) days after the professional cleaning was completed. Fortress Building Products does not warrant that the Product is stain-proof, and does not provide warranty coverage from spilled or otherwise applied food or beverage substances, or from mold and mildew, which is not promptly and properly cleaned as outlined above and in accordance with the Fortress Maintenance and Care Guide (available at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/maintenance-care). Additionally, because mold and mildew can settle and grow on any outdoor surface, including this Product, You should periodically clean and remove dirt and pollen from the Product that can feed mold and mildew.
Stain Resistance. RENEW Products shall be resistant to permanent staining resulting from spills of food and beverage items including ketchup, mustard, salad oils, tea, wine, coffee, fruit punch, barbeque sauce, grease, sodas and other food and beverage related items that would typically be present on a residential deck, or mold and mildew naturally occurring in the environment, provided that such substances are removed from the Product with soap and water or mild household cleaners within one (1) week of exposure of the food or beverage to the surface or first appearance of the mold and mildew. Notwithstanding the foregoing, RENEW Plastics LLC does not warrant that the Product is stain-proof, and does not warrant stain resistance resulting from spilled or otherwise applied food and beverage substances which are not properly cleaned as provided above within one (1) week of exposure. In addition, materials not covered in the stain resistant warranty include abrasive compounds of acidic or basic ph, paints or stains, strong solvents, metallic rust or other abnormal deck use items, and non-food and non-beverage substances, including but not limited to, biocides, fungicides, plant food, or bactericides. Mold and mildew can settle and grow on any outdoor surface, including this Product. You should periodically clean your deck to remove dirt and pollen that can feed mold and mildew. This warranty does not cover mold and mildew which is not properly cleaned as provided above within one (1) week of first appearance.
Stain Resistance. The Product will be resistant to permanent staining resulting from (a) spills of food and beverage related items that would typically be present on a residential deck as long as those spilled materials are removed from the Product within one week after the spill in accordance with our Cleaning and Maintenance Guide and (b) mold and mildew naturally occurring in the environment (“Stain Resistance”).

Limited Warranty Period for Residential Use Limited Warranty Period for Product Installed in Desert Climates Transfer of Limited Warranty for Residential Use. You may transfer Your Structural, Fade and Stain Resistance Warranties one time only within the first five years after the Warranty Start Date to the next owner of the single family residence where You installed the Product. The next owner of that residence will need the proof of purchase to obtain warranty service under this Limited Warranty.

  • Towing Contractor shall meet all requirements set forth in Title 46 CFR, Part 15 for Towing Assistance. Unless otherwise specified in the work request, Purchasers require a dead-ship tow plan to be approved by the Coast Guard in accordance with the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee for vessels over 50-feet, unless the Coast Guard deems the plan unnecessary. Contractor is responsible to obtain a tow plan and provide Purchaser with an approved copy at least one (1) business day prior to the tow. The plan is located on the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee’s website under the Safety Plan link on the left side of the page (▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/about). This site will have the most update version of the plan.

  • Smoke Detectors At Owner's expense, smoke detectors will be installed on the Property in working 38 condition in accordance with the law prior to the tenant's occupancy. During the occupancy, it shall be the tenant's 39 responsibility to maintain all smoke detectors. 40

  • Blasting Blasting shall be permitted only for road construction purposes unless advance permission is obtained from Forest Service. Whenever the Industrial Fire Precaution Level is II or greater, a fire security person equipped with a long handled round point No. 0 or larger shovel and a 5 gallon backpack pump can filled with water, will stay at location of blast for 1 hour after blasting is done. Blasting may be suspended by Forest Service, in areas of high rate of spread and resistance to control. Fuses shall not be used for blasting. Explosive cords shall not be used without permission of Forest Service, which may specify conditions under which such explosives may be used and precautions to be taken.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.

  • Vulnerability Management BNY Mellon will maintain a documented process to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities affecting its systems used to provide the services. BNY Mellon will classify security vulnerabilities using industry recognized standards and conduct continuous monitoring and testing of its networks, hardware and software including regular penetration testing and ethical hack assessments. BNY Mellon will remediate identified security vulnerabilities in accordance with its process.
