MOLD AND MILDEW. Resident acknowledges that it is necessary for Resident to provide appropriate climate control, keep the Apartment clean, and take other measures to retard and prevent mold and mildew from accumulating in the Apartment. Resident agrees to clean and dust the Apartment on a regular basis and to remove visible moisture accumulation on windows, walls and other surfaces as soon as reasonably possible. Resident further agrees not to block or cover any of the heating, ventilation or air-conditioning ducts in the Unit. Resident agrees to immediately report to the management office: (i) any evidence of a water leak or excessive moisture in the Apartment, as well as in any storage room, garage or other common area; (ii) any evidence of mold- or mildew-like growth that cannot be removed by simply applying a common household cleaner and wiping the area; (iii) any failure or malfunction in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems or laundry systems in the Apartment; and (iv) any inoperable doors or windows. Resident further agrees that Resident shall be responsible for damage to the Premises and Resident’s property as well as injury to Resident, Authorized Occupants, Resident’s family member(s), and guests resulting from Resident’s failure to comply with the terms of this Section.

MOLD AND MILDEW. Tenant acknowledges that mold and/or mildew can grow in any portion of the Premises that are exposed to elevated levels of moisture and that some forms of mold and mildew can be harmful to the health. Tenant therefore agrees to regularly inspect the Premises for mold and/or mildew, and immediately report to Landlord any water intrusion problems, mold and/or mildew (other than in sinks, showers, toilets and other areas designed to hold water or to be wet areas). Tenant shall not block or cover any heating, ventilation, or air conditioning ducts located in the Premises.
MOLD AND MILDEW. Tenant is required to take steps to control the growth of mold and mildew (1) by keeping the Rental Property clean and well ventilated, particularly when showering, bathing, or washing dishes or clothes, and (2) by notifying the University (Housing Services or Police) immediately about the existence of water leakage or overflow in or about the Rental Property.
MOLD AND MILDEW. To prevent and reduce mold and mildew, the Tenant must follow the following procedures: a. Always use bathroom exhaust fans when showering to prevent mildew accumulation. b. Use a cleaning product on bathroom surfaces, including ceilings, that is indicated for mold/mildew removal and take necessary measures to prevent mold/mildew from accumulating in the premises by keeping all areas free from water accumulation, removing visible moisture/mildew from shower enclosures, windows, walls, ceilings, and surfaces. c. Tenants are fully responsible and liable for the amount of all cleaning expenses incurred by Landlord to remove mold from the apartment as well as all damages to the apartment or the building caused by mold that is the result of tenant misuse, failure to report needed repairs or neglect. Xxxxxx further agrees that the Tenant shall be responsible for damage to the premises and personal property as well as any injury to him/her and all occupants of the premises resulting from Xxxxxx’s failure to comply with these terms.

Lessees agree to clean and dust the premises on a regular basis and to remove visible moisture accumulation on windows, walls and other surfaces as soon as reasonably possible. Lessees agree not to block or cover any of the heating, ventilation or air-conditioning ducts in the premises. Tenant also agrees to immediately report to the management office: (i) any evidence of a water leak or excessive moisture in the premises, as well as in any storage room, garage or other common areas; (ii) any evidence of mold-or mildew-like growth that cannot be removed by simply applying a common household cleaner and wiping the area; (iii) any failure or malfunction in the heating, ventilation or air conditioning system in the premises; and (iv) any inoperable doors or windows. Lessees further agree that Lessee shall be responsible for damage to the premises and Lessees' property as well as injury to Lessees, occupants and guests resulting from Lessees’ failure to comply with the terms of this paragraph.
MOLD AND MILDEW. Resident shall maintain appropriate climate control, keep the Premises clean, and take other reasonable measures to retard and prevent the accumulation of moisture and the growth of mold and mildew. Resident shall promptly remove visible moisture accumulation on windows, walls, and other surfaces. Resident shall not block or cover any part of the heating, ventilation, or air-conditioning system. Resident shall not employ any professional mold or mildew remediation contractor to treat the Premises without the written consent of Landlord. Resident shall promptly notify Landlord and all Co-Residents of any evidence of water leaks or excessive moisture accumulation in the Premises, any evidence of mold or mildew, any failure or malfunction in the heating, ventilation, or air conditioning system, any inoperable bathroom fans, and any inoperable windows or exterior doors. Resident shall be responsible for any damages and/or personal injuries resulting from any violation of this provision.
MOLD AND MILDEW. Resident agrees to regularly inspect the Unit for water leaks, moisture, mold and mildew, in particular taking notice of discolored areas on walls and ceilings or moisture in carpets. Resident agrees to immediately notify Owner in writing if Resident detects leaks, excessive moisture, a malfunction in any part of the heating, air-conditioning, or ventilation system, or mold or mildew within the Unit.

MOLD AND MILDEW. Tenant agrees to regularly inspect the Dwelling for water leaks, moisture, mold and mildew. Potential sources of water or moisture include roof leaks, humidifiers, plumbing leaks, steam from cooking, watering houseplants, baths and showers. Leaks may occur around water heaters, toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, windows and doors. Discolored areas on walls and ceilings and moisture in carpets may indicate roof leaks or clogged air conditioner drains. Tenant agrees to immediately notify Landlord in writing if Tenant detects leaks, mold or mildew within the Dwelling so that Landlord can remove mold and mildew from those areas. Tenant agrees to clean and remove visible moisture accumulation on windows, walls, ceilings, floors and other surfaces as soon as reasonably possible. Tenant agrees that after bathing, Tenant shall: (1) wipe moisture off of shower walls, shower doors, the bathtub and bathroom floor; (2) leave the bathroom door open until all moisture on the mirrors and bathroom walls and tile surfaces has dissipated; (3) hang up Tenant’s towels and bath mats so they dry completely and (4) leave any bathroom fan on for at least thirty minutes after completion of activity. For small amounts of mold and mildew on non-porous surfaces (such as ceramic bathroom tiles, vinyl flooring, wood or plastic), Tenant agrees to clean and remove the mold and/or mildew using soap (or detergent) and water, letting the surface dry and then using within 24 hours a spray-on-type household biocide, such as Pine-Sol Disinfectant, Lysol Disinfectant or Tilex Mildew Remover following the instructions of such product. No water beds are permitted in the Dwelling.

Resident agrees not to block or cover heating, ventilation or air conditioning ducts in the Unit. Resident also agrees to immediately report to the Management office: 1) Any evidence of a water leak or excessive moisture in the Unit as well as any storage room or common area; 2) Any evidence of a mold or mildew like growth that cannot be removed by simply applying a common household cleaner and wiping the area; 3) Any failure or malfunction of the heating, ventilation or air conditioning system in the Unit; and 4) any inoperable doors. Resident further agrees that Resident shall be responsible for damage to the Unit and Resident’s property as well as injury to Resident and occupants resulting from Resident’s failure to comply with the terms of this paragraph.
MOLD AND MILDEW. Resident acknowledges and agrees that, for both the maintenance of the Premises and for the health and well-being of Resident and Resident's occupants, family, and guests, Resident shall provide appropriate climate control, keep the Premises clean, and take other measures to retard and prevent mold and mildew from accumulating in the Premises. Additionally, Resident agrees to: (1) clean and dust the Premises on a regular basis and to remove visible moisture accumulation on windows, walls, and other surfaces as soon as such accumulation becomes reasonably apparent; (2) immediately notify Lessor of any evidence of a water leak or excessive moisture or standing water inside the Premises; (3) immediately notify Lessor of the presence of mold, mildew, or similar growth in the Premises that persists after Resident has attempted to remove it through the application of common household cleaning solutions or anti-microbial products; (4) immediately notify Lessor of any malfunction of any part of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, or laundry systems present on the Premises; AND (5) immediately notify Lessor of any inoperable doors or windows in the Premises Resident agrees that Resident shall be solely responsible for damages caused to the Premises and to personal property present on the Premises as well as any injuries or adverse medical condition suffered by Resident or Resident's occupants, family, or guests resulting from Resident's failure to comply with the terms of this Paragraph, Further, Resident agrees that Lessor may, in Lessor's sole discretion, relocate Resident to an equal or better unit whenever there is an environmental concern, including but not limited to mold or mildew. Such relocation shall in no way terminate this Agreement, but shall only automatically amend this Agreement as to the Address of the Premises as set forth in paragraph 1(B) of this Agreement. In the event Lessor determines that such relocation is due to Resident's failure to comply with the terms of this Paragraph, then the expense of such relocation shall be at the Resident's expense
