Stand-by Time. (a) Due to staff limitations, it may be necessary for the Police Chief to schedule an employee to be on a telephone stand-by alert available for duty at the Central Police Station within sixty (60) minutes of notification by the Police Chief to handle overtime work which may arise during other than their normal working hours. (b) Regular Stand-by. Those employees on stand-by will be carried on a stand- by roster to be established and maintained through procedures promulgated by the Police Chief.
