Common use of Standard Work Week Clause in Contracts

Standard Work Week. (a) Full-Time Employees will normally be scheduled to work twenty 12-hour Shifts in a 6-week cycle, such that the normal hours per week average 40. Part-Time Employees will be scheduled in accordance with Article 34. (b) The Employer may choose to implement Shifts of any duration to a minimum of 4 hours. Prior to implementation, the Employer shall consult with the Union and shall provide a minimum of 3 months notice of the change.

Standard Work Week. (a) Except as provided below, the standard work week for Full-Time time Employees will shall normally consist of 40 hours per week, which shall normally consist of 5 equal consecutive Shifts of 8 hours which shall be scheduled to work twenty 12worked within a continuous 8.5-hour Shifts in a 6-week cycle, such that the normal hours per week average 40. Part-Time Employees will be scheduled in accordance with Article 34period. (b) The Employer may choose Part-time Employees shall be scheduled but shall regularly work no more than 24 hours per week Sunday to implement Shifts Saturday, inclusive, to be worked in accordance with the schedules of any duration to a minimum of 4 hours. Prior to implementation, operations posted by the Employer shall consult with the Union and shall provide a minimum of 3 months notice of the changefrom time to time.
