Statutory Holidays - Kitimat Ten Month Employees. Ten (10) month employees shall be paid for the Canada Day and Labour day holidays but shall not be paid for BC Day unless they work one (1) day in the week before and one (1) day in the week after that holiday. Clause 19.02 is Clause 14.1(c) of the Collective Agreement covering employees of former CUPE Local 2052 of former School District No. 80 (Kitimat). It shall continue to apply to the employees of former CUPE Local 2052 of former School District No. 80 (Kitimat) who are employed on February 28, 1999 See Attachment “B”.

  • Ten Month Employees Employees appointed on a regular 10-month basis (those employed for the standard academic year beginning September 1 to June 30) generally receive benefits on a pro rata basis except for holiday pay which will be granted for those holidays that fall during the academic year only.

  • Month Employees TEN (10) MONTH EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE COMPLETED ONE (1) YEAR OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE AND WHO HAVE ACCUMULATED TWENTY (20) DAYS OF SICK LEAVE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED IN THE USLB.

  • Twelve Month Employees A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
