Common use of Step One Clause in Contracts

Step One. If the grievance is submitted but not resolved within ten (10) calendar days from the time the grievance was first discussed with the Supervisor, the grievor and/or the Union representative may, within the ensuing ten (10) calendar days, submit the grievance in writing to the Department Head or designate.
