Common use of Step One Clause in Contracts

Step One. (a) At this step, notice in writing of the grievance must be filed with a person designated by the Employer within ten (10) working days after the occurrence of the alleged grievance or of the date on which the employee first has knowledge of it. (b) The notice in writing shall briefly but clearly describe the nature of the incident or occurrence which gave rise to the grievance, and it shall clearly state the provision of the agreement which has been violated. (c) The Employer's representative must answer the grievance in writing within ten (10) days.

(c) The Employer's representative Supervisor, employee and Shop Xxxxxxx must answer meet and respond to the grievance meeting in writing within ten (10) 10 days.

(c) . Any meeting between the Parties at this step must involve the employee, the Shop Xxxxxxx and the Supervisor. The Employer's representative must Management shall answer the grievance in writing within ten (10) days.
