Common use of STORM HOLIDAYS Clause in Contracts

STORM HOLIDAYS. The normal work year for drivers during the school year will consist of 180 driving days each. This could vary by one or two days upward or downward in a few situations. Storm holidays are normally made up and drivers would be paid for the make-up day. The District will attempt to make the decision as to a storm holiday prior to 6:00 a.m. The normal work year for the dispatchers shall be July 1 through June 30.
