Strategic Planning in partnerships through contracts. From 2015/16 an increasing percentage of OPCC funding will be allocated through integrated partnership arrangements, usually through contracts rather than grants. This particularly affects domestic abuse and sexual violence, Restorative Justice and Reducing Reoffending. In our plan last year we said that if a service performs well and remains strategically relevant they will not be put into a competitive situation and will not have to bid again. Providers that this is relevant to will be informed of what they need to do in order for us to maintain an audit trail. In general schemes that provide diversionary activities and aim to impact on anti- social behaviour will be required to bid again. This is because the Commissioner wishes to build closer working relations and agree priorities with local authorities and Community Safety Partnerships. It will still be possible to apply for grants under these general headings but not for activities agreed with our partners as being within the specifications of the contract. This will be explained in the relevant sections of this plan. In addition to the bids that we will invite we will outline our intentions for longer term funding in key areas of service delivery. Applications for grant funding will be welcome in the following areas, provided they do not duplicate planned specifications.   • Staff Development Leave (a) An employee will be granted leave without loss of pay, at their basic rate of pay, to take courses (including related examinations) or attend conferences, conventions, seminars, workshops, symposiums or similar out-of-service programs, at the request of the Employer. The amount of pay received by an employee will not exceed the full-time daily hours of work as outlined in Clause 14.2 (Hours of Work). When such leave is granted, the Employer will bear the full cost, including tuition fees, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-related books. The Employer will also reimburse the employee for approved travelling, subsistence, and other legitimate, applicable expenses. (b) An employee may be granted leave without pay, with pay, or leave with partial pay, to take work related courses in which the employee wishes to enrol to acquire the skills necessary to enhance opportunities. (c) Approval of requests will be given reasonable consideration and leaves pursuant to this article will be administered in a reasonable manner. (d) Should the employee noted above terminate their employment for any reason during the six month period following completion of the above-noted leave, the employee will reimburse the Employer for all expenses incurred by the Employer (i.e. tuition fees, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-required books) on a proportionate basis.

  • Partnerships and Joint Ventures No Loan Party shall become a general partner in any general or limited partnership or a joint venturer in any joint venture.

Each of the Loan Parties shall not become or agree to (1) become a general or limited partner in any general or limited partnership, except that the Loan Parties may be general or limited partners in other Loan Parties, (2) become a member or manager of, or hold a limited liability company interest in, a limited liability company, except that the Loan Parties may be members or managers of, or hold limited liability company interests in, other Loan Parties, or (3) become a joint venturer or hold a joint venture interest in any joint venture, except in each case in respect of a Permitted Related Business Opportunity.

  • Status as Business Development Company The Borrower is an “investment company” that has elected to be regulated as a “business development company” within the meaning of the Investment Company Act and qualifies as a RIC.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.
