Common use of Student Employee Clause in Contracts

Student Employee. It is recognized by the Union that, as a matter of policy, the University is committed to providing work opportunities for Central Michigan University students who, by definition, are excluded from the bargaining unit. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to impinge upon that policy.

Students will not be used to conflict with the assigned duties of the regular employees when bargaining unit employees are available to perform work of a higher level.
