Common use of Student Health Clause in Contracts

Student Health. The name of a student having a health impairment, with the impairment stated, shall be given to a bargaining unit member coming in contact with that student during the school day, unless restrictions are present, in writing, from his/her parent(s). No bargaining unit member will be required to administer first aid or medication prescribed for a student. "In loco parentis" responsibility requires that a bargaining unit member exercise responsible action when confronted with a life-threatening situation.
