STUDENT REMEDIAL SERVICES. A. The district will provide the complainant a letter that the district takes systematic measures to ensure all disabled students receive all regular and special education and related aids and services necessary for the students to receive a free appropriate public education; and include a copy of the revised policy and procedures developed in accordance with section I.A., above. The letter will commit to providing a free appropriate public education to the student who was the subject of the complaint if the student re-enrolls in the district. B. The district will schedule a meeting/meetings of the student’s IEP team in order to determine whether the student was provided special education and related services, as necessary to ensure that the student received a free appropriate public education (FAPE) with respect to her enrollment in the district during the 2018-2019 school year. If parents refuse to attend the meeting(s), then the district is not required to hold the meeting(s); specifically, the district is not required to hold the meeting(s) with a substitute (such as an advocate) for the parent(s). The district will document its offer to meet with the parent(s). C. If the parent(s) agree to attend the meeting(s), the district will provide a neutral mediator or facilitator for the meeting. The team will discuss and determine whether the student needed special education and related services, as necessary to receive a FAPE during the 2018-2019 school year. The student’s IEP team will determine if there were any special education and related services the district should have provided the student during the 2018- 2019 school year but did not (compensatory education). D. The district will offer to provide the student any compensatory education the student’s IEP team determines is necessary to ensure that the student receives a FAPE with respect to his enrollment in the district during the 2018- 2019 school year. E. If the student’s parents accept the district’s offer for compensatory education, the district will provide the compensatory education consistent with its offer.

STUDENT REMEDIAL SERVICES. A. Student Education 1. The district will develop and implement a plan for educating students about issues related to sexual harassment, including: what constitutes sexual harassment; the effects of sexual harassment on individual students and the educational environment; the prohibition of sexual harassment in the educational setting; examples of prohibited conduct; the importance of reporting harassment; how and to whom to report incidents of harassment; the district’s obligation to respond promptly and effectively to all notice of sexual harassment; potential consequences and corrective action if harassment is found; and the prohibition of retaliation against any person who reported alleged sexual harassment or otherwise cooperated in an investigation of alleged sexual harassment.

  • Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall establish a network of pharmacies. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia.

  • Environmental Services 1. Preparation of Environmental Documentation (CEQA/NEPA) including but not limited to the following: a. Initial Study b. Categorical Exemption (CE) c. Notice of Exemption (XXX) d. Negative Declaration (ND) e. Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) f. Notice of Preparation (NOP) g. Environmental Impact Report (EIR) i. Initial Document (Screen Check/Administrative Draft) ii. Addendum iii. Supplemental

  • Patient Care Resident shall participate in safe, effective, and compassionate patient care, under supervision, commensurate with Resident's level of advancement and responsibility.

  • Hospice Services Services are available for a Member whose Attending Physician has determined the Member's illness will result in a remaining life span of six months or less.

  • Autism Services This plan covers the following services for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders. • Applied behavior analysis when provided and/or supervised by an individual licensed by the state in which the service is rendered. See the Summary of Medical Benefits for the amount that you pay. • Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services when rendered as part of the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. A benefit limit will not apply to these services. • Psychological and psychiatric services, and prescription drugs are also covered. See Behavioral Health Services and Prescription Drugs and Diabetic Equipment or Supplies for additional information. Coverage for autism spectrum disorders does not affect any obligation of a school district, a state or other governmental entity to provide services to an individual under an individualized family service plan, an individualized education program, or similar services required under state or federal law. Services related to autism that are furnished by school personnel are not covered under this plan.

  • Hospice Care If you have a terminal illness and you agree with your physician not to continue with a curative treatment program, this plan covers hospice care services received in your home, in a skilled nursing facility, or in an inpatient facility.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Quality Management Grantee will: 1. comply with quality management requirements as directed by the System Agency. 2. develop and implement a Quality Management Plan (QMP) that conforms with 25 TAC § 448.504 and make the QMP available to System Agency upon request. The QMP must be developed no later than the end of the first quarter of the Contract term. 3. update and revise the QMP each biennium or sooner, if necessary. Xxxxxxx’s governing body will review and approve the initial QMP, within the first quarter of the Contract term, and each updated and revised QMP thereafter. The QMP must describe Xxxxxxx’s methods to measure, assess, and improve - i. Implementation of evidence-based practices, programs and research-based approaches to service delivery; ii. Client/participant satisfaction with the services provided by Xxxxxxx; iii. Service capacity and access to services; iv. Client/participant continuum of care; and v. Accuracy of data reported to the state. 4. participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities as defined and scheduled by the state including, but not limited to data verification, performing self-reviews; submitting self-review results and supporting documentation for the state’s desk reviews; and participating in the state’s onsite or desk reviews. 5. submit plan of improvement or corrective action plan and supporting documentation as requested by System Agency. 6. participate in and actively pursue CQI activities that support performance and outcomes improvement. 7. respond to consultation recommendations by System Agency, which may include, but are not limited to the following: i. Staff training; ii. Self-monitoring activities guided by System Agency, including use of quality management tools to self-identify compliance issues; and iii. Monitoring of performance reports in the System Agency electronic clinical management system.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State. 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 1, remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment exercised in the other Contracting State shall be taxable only in the first-mentioned State if: a) the recipient is present in the other State for a period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate 183 days in any twelve-month period commencing or ending in the tax year concerned, and b) the remuneration is paid by, or on behalf of, an employer who is not a resident of the other State, and c) the remuneration is not borne by a permanent establishment or a fixed base which the employer has in the other State. 3. Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this Article, remuneration derived in respect of an employment exercised aboard a ship or aircraft operated in international traffic by a resident of a Contracting State, may be taxed in that State.
