Substitution for Vacation. An employee who qualifies for sick leave under Article while on vacation may change the status of his leave to sick leave effective the date of notification to the Employer. The employee shall submit on his return to duty a certificate stating the total period during which he qualified for sick leave. In the case of an employee who is admitted to hospital while on vacation, he may change the status of his leave to sick leave with effect from the date he was admitted to hospital.
