The HSGP provides funding to implement investments that build, sustain, and deliver the 32 core capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal of a secure and resilient Nation. Among the five basic homeland security missions noted in the DHS Quadrennial Homeland Security Review, HSGP supports the goal to Strengthen National Preparedness and Resilience. The building, sustainment, and delivery of these core capabilities are not exclusive to any single level of government, organization, or community, but rather, require the combined effort of the whole community. These grant programs fund a range of activities, including planning, organization, equipment purchase, training, exercises, and management and administration across all core capabilities and mission areas.

This HSGP award consists of State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) funding in the amount of $150,000 of which $##,### is to be used by the Subrecipient. This grant program funds a range of activities, including planning, organization, equipment purchases, training, exercises, and management and administration across all core capabilities and mission areas.
Summary Description of Award. The FY 2021 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) plays an important role in the implementation of the National Preparedness System (NPS) by supporting the development and sustainment of core capabilities. Core capabilities are essential for the execution of each of the five mission areas outlined in the National Preparedness Goal. The NSGP provides funding support for statutorily eligible costs to include target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. The program seeks to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader State and local preparedness efforts. It is also designed to promote coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives, as well as State and local government agencies. The terms of the approved Investment Justification(s) are incorporated into the terms of this Federal award, subject to the additional description and limitations stated in this Agreement Article and the limitations stated in subsequent reviews by FEMA of the award budget. Post-award documents uploaded into ND Grants for this award are also incorporated into the terms and conditions of this award, subject to any limitations stated in subsequent approvals by FEMA of changes to the award. Subawards and projects not listed in this Agreement Article are not approved for funding under this award. This NSGP award is for $1,834,988 for the following subrecipients, subaward amounts, and projects listed below: LLAMA, $ALPACA: HOLD(S) Recipients must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (42 U.S.C. section 2000d et seq.) prohibition against discrimination on the basis of national origin, which requires that recipients of federal financial assistance take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to persons with limited English proficiency (LEP) to their programs and services.   • Notice of Award PEI may use a Notice of Award to announce, modify, or clarify the annual Grant budget, source of funding, Performance Measures, QIP terms, or other Grant requirements.

  • Allocation of Award The total Award made with respect to the Leased Property or for loss of rent, or for Lessor’s loss of business beyond the Term, shall be solely the property of and payable to Lessor. Any Award made for loss of Lessee’s business during the remaining Term, if any, for the taking of Lessee’s Personal Property, or for removal and relocation expenses of Lessee in any such proceedings shall be the sole property of and payable to Lessee.
