Summary of Exceedances of the Environmental Quality Performance Limit. 6.5.1 All 1-Hour TSP and 24-hour TSP results were below the Action and Limit Level in the reporting month. 6.5.2 For construction noise, no exceedance was recorded at all monitoring stations in the reporting period. 6.5.3 Five (5) Action Level exceedances were recorded at measured suspended solids (SS) values (in mg/L) in the reporting month. After investigation, the water quality exceedances were considered not to be due to the Project works. 6.5.4 Two (2) Action Level Exceedances regarding the impact dolphin monitoring in the period of June to August 2013 were recorded. The investigation results will also be presented in the upcoming quarterly report. 6.5.5 Cumulative statistics on exceedance is provided in Appendix N.

During Mid-ebb tide on 15 August 2014, surface and middle DO in mg L-1 recorded at IS(Mf)11, IS10 and SR5 and; bottom DO in mg L-1 recorded at IS(Mf)11 and IS10 exceeded the Action Level. During mid-flood tide on 15 August 2014, surface and middle DO in mg L-1 recorded at IS(Mf)11, IS10, SR5, SR6 and SR7 and; bottom DO in mg L-1 recorded at IS(Mf)11, IS10, SR5 and SR6 exceeded the Action Level. After investigation, it is unlikely that the DO exceedances are related to the marine construction activities of this Contract. 6.1.4 One (1) limit level exceedance of Chinese White Dolphin monitoring was recorded in the reporting quarter. Investigation results show that there is no evidence that exceedance is related to Project works. Event Action Plan for Impact Dolphin Monitoring was triggered. For detail of investigation, please refer to appendix L.
Summary of Exceedances of the Environmental Quality Performance Limit. 6.5.1 Two (2) 24-hour TSP results exceeded the Action Level on 13 and 29 April 13 at monitoring station AMS7 and AMS3A respectively. One (1) 24-hour TSP result exceeded the Limit Level on 08 April 2013 monitoring station AMS3A in the reporting month. After investigation, the dust exceedance were considered not to be due to the Project works. 6.5.2 For construction noise, no exceedance was recorded at all monitoring stations in the reporting period. 6.5.3 One (1) Action Level exceedance of turbidity (NTU) was recorded at during mid flood tide at IS17 on the 29 April 13. Four (4) Action Level exceedances of SS were recorded during the reporting period. Where two (2) Action Level exceedance were recorded at during mid flood tide at IS8 and SR4(N) respectively on 10 April 13, one (1) were recorded at during mid flood tide at IS(Mf)16 on 22 April 13; one (1) was recorded during mid flood tide at SR5 on 26 April 13. After investigation, the water quality exceedances were considered not to be due to the Project works. 6.5.4 Cumulative statistics on exceedance is provided in Appendix N.

The investigation is undergoing and the investigation results will be reported in the quarterly EM&A report (Dec 13 – Feb 14). 6.5.5 Cumulative statistics on exceedance is provided in Appendix N.

One sighting was recorded on 11 May 2015 and two sightings were recorded on 18 May 2015 in NWL. A total of 9 individuals were sighted from the two impact dolphin surveys in the reporting period. The group sighted on the 11 May 2015 contained five individuals; the first sighting on the 18 May 2015 contained three individuals and the second group on the same day, one individual. Sighting details are summarised and plotted in Appendix K and Figure 5c, respectively.
